For those following my 'Ultimate C6 Journey', I've sadly just posted that there is a major delay in Atomic
being delivered to England.
When she does finally arrive, the battery will have been disconnected for shipping and will of course,
would be dead after 7 weeks, so what system problems am I likely to encounter upon reconnection?
Is there also a set procedure for bringing her back to life?
7 weeks disconnected and dead battery? It might not be dead. I have an old car that stays covered all the time and the battery is disconnected sometimes for 3 months. Once connected though it fires right up.
If it is dead though you dont even have a radio code to worry about in the vette. Enjoy your travels!!
with Post #2. As long as it is fully charged before it is disconnected, after six -seven weeks it should still be good. There should be very little bleed off of charge.
If the battery is in good shape, being disconnected should not affect it, it will likely be fine. When you do get it started you will need to re-index the windows.

If the car was shipped with the battery disconnected, the battery shouldn't be discharged. Just hook it back up, index the windows, and you're good to go.
