Spring Mountain Video Archive

I've been asked several times recently for my videos from Spring Mountain. Here are some of them:

Ground Level View on a 1:56 lap

C6 Z51 Chasing down a C6 Z06

One of my laps at 1:57 picture-in-picture

Suspension Cam picture-in-picture
This is one of my favorites. It shows you what it's like to have an instructor teach from behind you on the track.

Another Wheel Cam, 2:05 lap picture-in-picture

If you haven't been to Spring Mountain, do yourself a favor and check them out. It will make you a WAY better driver. It's the best performance mod you can make to your car.

I guess they have cameras in all the cars and will give you your driving footages at the end?

Thanks for posting these back up.

The second one, "C6 Z51 Chasing down a C6 Z06" is my favorite. It shows that a good driver in a car with a 105 horsepower handicap can beat a lesser driver in a more powerful car.

I hope to do Spring Mountain this upcoming Spring.

For some reason they didn't do this or offer this the session that I did. About my only complaint was the lack of pictures or videos of the sessions.

so after level 1 3 days lesson how fast is considered a fast lap and an ok average lap?

Same here, went thru level 1 last month (26-28th) Well worth it but a video whould have been nice.

The track configuration that you linked was for the 3.1 mile course. The red lines show parts of the track that can be used for other configurations. The Corvette School uses the 2.2 mile (North & South) track.

When I took level 1, my fastest lap was a 2:04. I was 3rd out of 11 students. Nobody broke 2 minutes. Breaking 2:00 in level 2 is a good accomplishment, let alone level 1.

After level 2, I was down to 1:55.
