Anyone hear of this from Autosport? Would this work instead of a battery tender? Could it harm anything else. I plugs into the cigarette lighter.

I plug my battery tender into the aux power port in the console.

Could you elaborate more on that? I don't have an electrical outlet near my parking place in my condo? Is that where you plug in your battery tender/

I have a battery tender that plugs into an electrical outlet in my garage. It uses a "lighter plug" to plug into the car. I use the console outlet for this. The purpose of the battery tender is to keep the charge level of the car battery topped off.

A memory maintainer is not going to keep your car battery from discharging over time. The purpose (if I am talking the same device) of this device is to prevent components that depend on current being available to maintain memory from being deprived of this current while you disconnect the main battery.

About the only thing lost when the battery goes out is the window indexing feature. It's a 10-15 second process to reset from inside the car.
