Anothr reason I don't put too many miles now is I'm retired. When I was working just driving to work everyday racked up over 6,000 miles a year.
I'm going to VIR again in Feb. for another HPDE, that will be another 200+ hard but fun track miles.

Default Drive mine everyday!!

My 2005 used to be my 2nd car. But I got rid of my F150 so now it's my daily driver. I have over 35K on mine and I don't regret it.

And another thing:

Nothing I own is a DD anymore. Between my 06 Z06, my 97 C5 and my Silverado nothing gets driven everyday because I rotate and try to drive something different everytime I go somewhere and occasionally theres a day I don't go anywhere. I got to admit however the Silverado gets driven the least.

So, yes, I drive my Corvette daily - in all kinds of weather - '07 C6 - 21600 miles - 14 states in the C6 and counting: 45 of the lower 48 in Corvettes - I have more than 400,000 miles in C4s, more than 40K in C5s...

I'm not hating, just curious. I can't stay out of mine and its not my DD.

I drive mine so much I spend just as much time trying to keep it clean

Why would anyone not use their car on the Track or in HPDE's. You can't use all it's performance on the street, at least not legally or safely. How can you be enjoying your car the way I do. I only ask this because it seem there are people that wonder how I enjoy my car if I don't put at least 24,000 miles a year on it. I think the answer is we all have our own way of enjoying our cars. It's not that anyone's way is any better than anyone else's, just different.

Might as well stop trying to bud. Some just can't understand that their way isn't the only way.

Enjoy your car your way!

Yes, I think you're correct, but everytime I think I'm done on this thread, I think of something else to say.

I would just like to thank the previous owner of the 2006 coupe I bought for saving it for me - 2100 miles on the clock when I picked it up in Orlando this August, and it was perfect! I may have paid a bit of a premium for the low miles, but not much, based on my research at Edmunds, Kelly BB, and in Manheim auction reports.

It has a little over 8000 on it now, after the drive home to KS from Orlando, a road trip to Columbus, OH, another to St Louis, and countless trips to my local pub (and the grocery store!). We also try to do a "day trip" at least once a week to points of interest in the local area.

There's a snowdrift blocking the Corvette side of the garage right now, but I'm confident it'll be back on the road next week.

There just is no "right" answer to the question the OP posed, but I get a smile on my face every day when I fire it up!

Have a '06 BMW 750Li, got that rather than a z06 (dealers here wanted 10 to 15k over msrp) it sits in the garage except for long trips, have 17k on it. Love to detail it, drive it like it should be,as good at 150mph as 65mph. Getting it a brother, c6 coupe ordered 3 Dec (can't think of nothing else), it will sit on the other side. Will do the same with the Vette, drive it. My wife ask the question, why it will just sit like the BWM. I smile, yep nothing like a man an his cars. See drives the Ford.
