Hello fellow corvette owners. Need some advice. I have a 2005 with an auto xmission and was noticing that the service manual shows the oil should be changed at 50000miles(first time). I think it would be wise to have it changed early the first time. I have 28000 trouble free miles on it now. What do you think? Am I going to throw away 160bucks having it changed early?? The only trouble I have has with the drive train is the rumble with sharp turns and the SB fixed that about 10000miles ago. The tranny fluid change should not affect that. Thanks
Al
A good rule of thumb to follow is every 2 years or 24,000 miles IF you plan to keep the car and get the MOST miles from it. Otherwise just follow what the manual says. I'm sure you'll get a bunch of different opinions here but just do what YOU are comfortable with.
