Tpw 12/17
I have a new 08 on order with a a TPW of 12/17.... My understanding is that the factory will be closed for the 2 weeks starting the week of 12/24.
My Question... if a car has a TPW of 12/17 will it get shipped be for the shut down? If they dont ship the week of 12/17 will they not go out before 1/7?
The waiting is killing me

Several posts have indicated the plant will only be down from 12/24 through 1/1. And of course, they don't usually work on Sat. & Sun. So, I'm pretty sure that if your car is built the week of 12/17, it'll get shipped before Christmas if Allied gets enough cars headed your way for a full load.

The plant is only down from 12/24 through 1/1. They start back up on 1/2. I don't think that Allied is down all of that time. They will still need a full truck load going to your local area for your's to ship.

The 12/17 TPW includes 1/2 - 1/4. Depending on the production number, it may already be almost finished. I have a 12/17 TPW and mine only has about an hours worth of work on Monday and it will be finished. When the line shut down on Friday, they had just put the headlights and front fenders on and were doing some misc. stuff.
