hi ... got the reminder on the computer "service traction control". '05 w/41K mi.
my tech writer said that he couldn't give me an estimate until they look at it. i've heard varied numbers. anyone have a recent cost for their service ? thanks..Bob

I can chime in as this same exact thing happened to me a couple of months ago for about 20 mins and then was gone
I posted a thread on it and was advised that it was a problem that some C6s had where some wires would accidentally touch a certain sensor and INCORRECTLY give that message. I then called my local stealership service dept and was told to bring it in if it displayed that message again. Have never seen that message displayed since.

If it came on and went off, don't worry about it. These cars will do funny thing sometimes. If it came on a lot or came on and is still on, then worry about it.
My C5 would spit that out everyonce and a while and my C6 would too. My second C6 hasn't done it yet but I'm sure it will one day.
Not a big deal unless it is consistent.

thanks for the feedback. my C5 did it,too. The C6 has done it several times but not "days in a row" type stuff. i'll keep an eye on it. rumor had it that it was expensive to make repairs if needed . Since I'll be selling it in March to get an '08, I want to make sure that "all is well"!
