headlights

i have the artic white c6. i saw a couple white ones with black headlights. i thinks it looks AWESOME... what do ya'll think. has anyone here done that or know of anyone that has?

That looks like a film over the white lights as opposed to actual black-painted headlights. A number of owners have reported cracking or crazing of their headlights after they applied similar film. I would be careful

You have two choices;

Apply the film to the existing headlights or

Buy 2 new black headlights from Chevy @ $1000.00 EACH.

If black headlights were OEM, people would be tripping over each other installing those "cool" painted to match ones.

It is funny. I'm in that boat of painting lower valance same as car color. C5, painted mine black.....Guess I'm never happy.

The film could be a problem. We applied window tint on th ewindows at our condo and the film stops the heat from coming thru and fading the furniture but built up so much heat thru the summer it broke the thermopane seal and the windows fogged up. we had to replace all the windows that we covered.I'll never do that again .
