Is the Diablo Programmer worth it? For now all my performance plans are intake and full exhaust and maybe a new intake manifold eventually. But would it be better to buy the predator programmer or buy the HP tuners?
-David
I opted to buy the predator as it will retain my factory settings and it also will read and erase error codes.
I am running a Vararam and Borla and have my Kooks headers coming in, the predator will be able to handle those changes. I am checking if it will be able to handle a heads and cam change.
Currently it is working well as it seems my car has really picked up.
I bought my diablo for 2 reasons.
1) To be able to put the stock tune if if the car needs to be serviced at the dealer, and
2)Get rid of the TM. My wife DD this car so i didn't care a whole lot about the HP gains, but the drivabilty with the tune was greatly improved, even she noticed it and complimented the results.
It was worth it to me.

Thats what I plan on doing Vararam, Stainless Works Headers and Corsa Sports.
torque management, I agree with all these reasons listed above AND no matter what mods you do you can take the car to a Diablo Sport "Tuner" where they can "custom" tune the car on a dyno and on the road and make it so you can save that to the tool and still make changes, data logging etc.etc... That's what I've done and it cost me about what a "custom" tune would! It's better than a SLP Predator because it's for your car IMHO
