Hey does anyone have a scan or jpg of their before and after C6 alignment settings they could share? I am interested in how the plant set up our cars (the before numbers).

Not mine but I had this thread saved. Check Modshack's (post #2) for his before and after. His car is not a Z51. Hope this helps till someone else comes by.

Thanks, any print out I can get would be very much appreciated. The tolerance specs that are given to the dealer(s) have a plus/minus range that can leave one a bit out of scope down the road. The factory sets it up one way and the dealer does their interpretation of the spec. sheet on that range. It's not always right after you drive away.

Exactly...The spec is pretty broad:

Mine was pretty outta whack from the factory, but consider they have 3 minutes to do this it's hard to expect it to be spot on. I would have at least liked to see it in spec though... My alignment guy took 2 hours.
Regardless, it's much better now (I had an independent do it for the same concerns you have)

Thanks, anyone know an alignment shop around CA who is friendly enough to answer a technical question over the phone? But, not a dealer.

The recommended settings that I have found only go to c5:

thanks

Mine was way out from the factory too. I had my local dealer do mine on their new machine and now its spot on. I couldnt believe it was that bad from the factory.

What were the symptoms of your factory alignment to lead you to do it anew?

On fast left sweepers I felt a very slight instability and some need to make small mid turn corrections to keep my line steady. Right sweepers were rock solid. Sure enough, look at the right rear toe...

I'm fairly sensitive to this stuff though. The biggest influencer was reading reports here on the forum........Regarding general out of spec findings and tire wear..
