Do it yourself NPP Wireless Switch...
I did some research on readily available wireless controls and came up with my own solution that is much cheaper while still retaining the coolness of a wireless control.
First you need to buy the wireless receiver with key fobs. The one that I used I got from Newegg.com - it's called the Logisys Computer RM01 12V Remote Control Molex Connector Kit. It retails for like $12.99.
Depending on the maximum AMP rating on the RM01, you can also find a RM02 that is usually only a few bucks more that's rated to 15 AMPS of something like that. Newegg doesn't sell them, but I've seen them all over the place
...
RM02 Sources (OR THERE ARE LIKE A MILLION OF THEM LISTED ON THAT HUGE AUCTION SITE - search for Logisys RM02)
...

...
Item # 46044 - Mini Fuse Circuit Tap $8.05
...
Item # 37065 - Mini Tapper Fuse Clip Push On $0.10
I also used a ring terminal that I had laying around for the ground wire connections.
Basically I ran the red wire from the wireless receiver to the red wire end of the mini fuse circuit tap. I put a 10A fuse on the one end of the circuit tap and used the mini tapper fuse clip connected to the white wire coming out of the wireless receiver right next to the 10A fuse on the left side of the fuse connection. The 2 black wires coming out of the wireless receiver were connected together with the ring connector and screwed into a grounded screw spot under the dash.
The mini fuse end of the circuit tap was inserted into the fuse slot that everyone talks about removing to disable the NPP system.
Bingo, now you can turn the exhaust on and off wirelessly!

If someone else can save a few bucks and has the desire to do it themselves?? They should at least have the option right?

The difference in cost is not much and I know I have the technical support should something be needed.
Thanks for the heads up. I probably should save the few dollars and do it the way you suggest but I'll probably just buy a kit from one of the vendors here..
I can't figure out why one vendor sells his at 45 dollars and another sells his for 90 though..
Anybody know what the difference in kits is (besides the price)
Thanks in advance.
One down side about driving in the open mode ; it makes you want to push the gas pedal down more to hear that pure cool sound.

Most that are going to actually spend hours finding, ordering, then assembling the parts to make the knock off W2M switch would more than likely be to cheap to buy from you anyways.
I've had way more than $90 worth of pleasure from my W2M switch I'll tell you that!
Agreed the idea is what matters, copies are much easier.
Thank you Ed
Wow, you are a brand new member (no profile) and this is your first post, can't wait to see what is next. Actually it much more like all the other attempts to attack the product I developed over 16 months ago and sell commericaly on this very forum. Most likley buy a few of the members that harass me on a regualar basis.
I have given up trying to defend my original creation, which when I developed it 16 months ago required me to have a custom control built . Eventually I will stop posting new and unique products since they only have lead to both my business and original creation attacked.
In the past DIY’s of vendors existing creations were protected, that has changed I guess due to pressure from a few. I am sure you will see them chiming in on this post.
Vendors pay a good fee to have the opportunity to sell on this forum. The links to the ones above were not vendors last time I checked.
It's always simple to look at a product and copy it. I look at what has not been developed and make it as was the case with the first wireless exhaust switch. That no one can take away from me

Enjoy the DIY
Not trying to attack anything... Just pointing out an alternative. Is that wrong? I can't help that the parts are readily and easily available at a multitude of places.
Or I can buy mine from Pipedreams and pay a little more, sure, but I get it in a couple of days, hook it up in 2 minutes, and if I have any problems, Ed ships me a new one.
I gladly paid for that service.

I especially liked the post "you just saved alot of people alot of money"
Yea, about the cost of a tank of gas and a few hours of extra time. Thanks for this "valuable" info.
