Stratoshhere mats question.
Received my new Stratoshere mats a few weeks ago, but just today took them out of the box. I discovered that the holes that locate them are just that.... holes. They're about the size of a $.50 piece. Is there suspose to be a gromet of some type that fits in the hole. With just the hole, it really doesn't secore the mat at all, plus, seems like a good place for the mat to unravel. Thanks.

When ordering mine, I was asked if I needed them shipped with or without grommets because most people simply remove them from their GM mats and re-use them in their new ones....I think they told me new supplied gromments would be one or two dollars a piece. Hope this helps!

Late production 07's and 08's switched back to the old style hooks so those mats will come with the metal trim ring grommet style retainers.
05-06 and most 07's will use the same doughnut style clips from the OEM mats. Just snap them apart and transfer them to the Strats.
Or you can always order new pieces from a Chevy dealer. They're cheap to replace.
