I will be painting my calipers soon and was wondering if I can just put a puck in any of the 4 locations and jack up one corner at a time. I will just take one wheel off at a time and complete it. So only one wheel will be up. Is this OK for the frame or should I jack up the whole front then the whole back. Thanks
That should be fine. That is exactly how I did my C5 a few years ago. It just will take a little longer.

Say, I am going to start using drag radials on 17" wheels in the rear on occasions when I go to the strip. This means taking off my 19" rear wheels and replacing with my 17" wheels. So what are my options for tire changing? I just purchased a Torin Aluminum floor jack and a couple of Torin jack stands. I also have the round eye bolt hockey pucks.
So, as mentioned above, one option is that all I need to do per rear wheel is use the lifting floor jack on each side rear corner (with puck)-this means I dont have to use the jack stands, correct?
If I use the floor jack at the rear end of the car, thereby lifting both rear wheels up at the same time, do I then need to place the floor jacks at the side rear corners under the pucks? Or can I do without the stands just like the first option?
