Does anyone have any experience with this mild to wild system? What exhaust system will it/will not fit? Warranty questions on implementation of same. Do I have to change the mufflers? Tried going to their email, would not go through. Any help appreciated. Ken
I have a Mild 2 Wild from Pipedreams. Its probably the best thing I bought for my vette. I have the NPP exhaust but it can also be used on the Z06 Exhaust. There are no warranty issues. It takes only a few seconds to remove with no sign it was there. I am not as familar with the "system", but I believe that is used to retro fit the NPP or Z06 exhaust to 05-07. Ed can probably give a better explanation.
Mild to Wild is a system designed to offer a remote control to operate the butterfly valves on a 2008 NPP dual mode exhaust or a 2006-2008 Z06 dual mode exhaust.
Your profile indicates that you have a 2007 so unless you have retrofitted one of those two exhausts (which is possible) on to your car it will do nothing for you. You will need to purchase one of those two GM exhaust options either new or used and add it and the vacuum system to your car to have the Mild to Wild work.
Talon, I had the Corsa exhaust installed, which of course entailed removing the stock exhaust. Will this system fit for the mild to wild?
Thx-Ken
No the Mild to wild will only work currently with either the factory Z06 exhaust or the factory 2008 bi-mode exhaust called the NPP. Corsa does not currently make an exhaust that has the butterfly valves at the tail pipes.
Let's not forget the new Pipedreams (nakidparts.com) and SunsetOrangeDream add on "NPP in a box" kits. They can be added to an '07 and give the same functionality as the factory NPP.
