I drive my Vette only couple days/wk, less during the winter rainy season. What is the optimum tire pressure for this type of driving since most of the time the car sits in the garage? The mfg said 30 psi
My car is non-Z51, 2007, only has 158 miles on it (just picked up on 12/19)
30 psi cold is what you should be using. Tire pressure will vary with temperature. You should plan on approximately 1 pound for every 10 degree change in temperature (up or down) and adjust your tires accordingly.

Not trying to hijack this thread, but what tire gauge (brand) do you guys recommend?
30 psi. no kidding. and if you do drive it that infrequently, if there's a lot of outside temp change, do ck your tire pressures. they can go up and down based on outside temps.
Remember that the DIC doesn't take constant readings. You really need to check the pressure at the valve stem when you fill the tires. But you did add a smiley.

Accutire (Measurement Specialties, Inc.). I have a couple different ones but the one that works the best I've found is the cheapest Accutire I have, and it just so happens to have "Corvette" logo'd on it. I think it was $20 at corvettec6collection.com.

I have that digital one sold at many stores by Accutire with an angled head, runs about $10, supposedly lifetime battery (replacement, if you can still find the company!).
Hey sabooh! YOu're obviously paying for that Corvette logo!!!!

I run nitrogen in mine to--well, almost - 78% Nitrogen. 30 PSI cold is correct and air (or nitrogen) must be added as it gets colder or removed when it gets warmer to maintain....
