OK, this may have been thought of a thousand times, but if it existed, I'd be first in line to buy it.
Instead of a custom ash tray decal (you know the one with the logo and info like "built 12-10-07 for John Doe") - - -
A replacement ash tray cover with similar info laser etched on the cover.
This could be designed in a way that looks more classy and upscale than the popular decals. The decals are very nice, by the way, but this could be a step up.
Would anyone be interested? If so, perhaps a vendor might take notice.
A little history, a company call completedreams made the first one, they were very nice. GM shut him down for license issues. I began making them but honestly was not happy with the overall look. I think C6decaldesigns.com still makes them. A few issues, hard to use metal due to the curve in the ashtray. Second it's very expensive to make a run of domed decals. Trying to custom make each ones will never be profitable. I am sure you local trophy shop can make them for you.
