I have a Lloyd's cargo mat. From the pictures it looks like this partition is compatible with that?

I just got mine and I have a question for those that have used it for some time:
Does the hard plastic part cause any damage where it is in contact with the plastic vette part??? (Top photo of post 14)

Now the cargo organizer Will Not fit with the partition in place.
The reason I mentioned the organizer is because it serves the same purpose as a partition, to keep items you want to keep handy from sliding back to the rear of the hatch area. Just trying to offer an option to the original question. It seamed fitting to me.

Trying to use both a partition and the organizer doesn't make sense to me anyway.

These two parts are not in contact with each other. It just looks like it from the angle of the picture. If they do happen to touch, would not think there would be any damage.

Yes, that is a Lloyd's mat and the Exotic Vette partition fits fine with it. There is extra carpet material attached to the front of the partition. Tuck that under the front of the cargo mat and then push the extra material on the sides up and under the rear speaker grills. Don't cut anything and take your time. Extra material will disappear when all done.

Excellent advice and exactly what I did. It looks like it came with the car, not an add-on. Highly recommended. I love the fact that I no longer have to chase all the items that disappeared under the stored roof every time I accelerated a little aggressively. It also keeps the rear cover flap from flapping in the wind when the top is off.

They are in mine, a rather snug fit, which is why I posed the question. Apparently there is some variation in the production process. Thanks.

Actually with mine I didn't put the extra material under the cargo mat. I pushed it down into the back area to make for a much tighter fit.

Got my partition today. It took a few minutes to get it unpacked (or unbundled) as it was very well wrapped.

I was surprised there were no instructions. But then there really is nothing to the installation. Swiftrider08 and alanancy pretty much said everything you need to do to install it.

Now I'll have somewhere better than the passenger floor to put my thermos when I drive to work tomorrow.

i've got the exoticvettes partition. i'm not completely happy with the way the roof fits in there with it but it does fit. it seems to rub the front of the roof. as much i have the roof off i hope it doesn't bother the paint over time.

It's kind of an interference fit but it seems to work ok once you get the top snapped down in place.

I'm not exactly sure what the problem is with removing the partition is when storing the roof. I have the Southern Car Parts organizer and partition. All I do is simply lay the partition down in the cargo area when taking off the top. The partition is only 3/4 of an inch thick and it doesn't take up much room.

the exoticvettes partition has a fabric flap in front that tucks into the floor edges. it makes it look great but it's just a little inconvenient to have to pull it out and retuck it later. no biggie.

Have you tried it without removing the partition. The top should fit.
At least that is how it is advertised. I won't be able to test mine until the spring.
