Default Split spoke or Polished wheels ?

I ordered a 08 coupe with the standard split spoke but now Im getting second thoughts. What do you think will look better on a black vette the polished or split spoke ? I have until this week to decide.

Stay with the split spokes. You can get after market wheels later. It won't cost you a thing now and you can sell your split spokes later and come out $$$$ ahead.

I was able to sell my split spokes and buy a set of (perfect) polished for a net difference of about $475, including Discount's fee to dismount the old rims and mount the new ones....

In my opinion - neither!

Why do what everyone else does? Don't be a sheep, get something different. Be creative. Think outside the box!

There are dozens and dozens of wheel choices for the Corvette. Look around. Go to some of the wheel manufacturer web sites. Make some phone calls. You'll be surprised what's available.

I am so sick of these 5 spoke wheels... split or not. These are the most boring wheels I've ever seen. They look like what the pioneers had on their covered wagons

[Having said all that, I guess I should update my avatar to reflect my new wheels - LOL]

If you are thinking of modding the car for HP, (headers, cam, tune, etc) then see this post. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1909047

I have just headers/tune and easily spin the F1 SC's in second. Traction will be an issue. I have the polished wheels, they are forged, and the finish is great, but I'm gonna need wider shoes.
