I have locks and when I had two flats on different wheels the Goodyear dealer didn't even ask for the key. And they didn't have a bit of trouble getting them off and fixed... I wouldn't trust that the theves don't have the same tool the tire guys have.
Hi guys,
I'm new here, just bought my 2009 Vette new ten days ago with the 0% apr, yeah thanks to Toyota that started it
About the wheel lock, the sales guy from the dealer didn't know that much about it and they lost the key. No lock I.D. card either. So what you have to do is call Mcgard to: 1 800-444-5847, you can also check in their website: www.mcgard.com
I called them, the customer service rep gave me her e-mail and asked me to send her pictures of the lock plus some info about the car and you. That was it, after two days once they check the pictures they called me back, I gave them my credit card number and they sent me the damn key, it costed me only 14.99 shipping included. Just watch out for shady ppl taking extreme close ups of your wheel locks, lol.
No need to break it, I hope this is helpful for somebody.

Good timing as I just thought about getting a set for my new-to-me C6. I've bought two used cars over the years with lost wheel lock keys and Discount Tire was able to hammer an old socket and work the locked nut off. The Gorilla set looks interesting.
Bought a used C6 and can't find the wheel lock key. Is there a location where this would be stored? Can I get new key if it's lost? Best place to purchase ? Thanks
This will help. Youcan get one at most automotive stores.
