I don't think Z51 changes are that simple. Besides substantially stiffening all related suspension parts and adding better brakes, it also adds oil cooler, and changes the gear ratios to make them shorter and thus better suited for spirited driving. Personally, I think Z51 is a must for any Corvette owner with no gray hair and no dislocated/damaged joints, and with no back pain

No manufacturer options (I'm on a budget), which I'm okay with the option that I wanted most was Z51, but I heard that it's mainly the sway bar that adds the difference, which I plan on adding some time. A stock corvette already comes with options that would cost thousands in a BMW (keyless go, xenon headlights, etc even the coupe is a convertible)
It has a cut out exhaust, which sounds amazing!! I don't know how it affects performance, but I can always cover up the pipes whenever I want to. It also has, I think a 5% tint.
I've had it for about... 3 days and does this car grab attention! I feel like I'm driving a Ferrari, I've had people come up to me about the car, even when I was eating at taco bell lol! I still can't believe how inexpensive the car is, 5 grand more than my 3 series but double the horsepower and torque, softer suspension yet handles amazingly, I swear I don't think this car even knows what body roll is and I dont even have the Z51 package! I'm really excited about the car, I look for any reason just to go out and drive.
Awesome... good to see you got the best color no longer available.
Awesome ride It makes anyone feel like a celebrity.
I see the calipers are also painted. It looks just like mine! I have 5 % tint too. I took the GM chicklets off and the door handles off for a cleaner look from a side view.

From looking at different posts, I saw that it seems the brakes and oil cooler are mainly noticeable for professional track racers and concerning the shorter gear ratios looking at the quarter mile runs the z51 and none z51 seem to run similar times. The biggest thing that concerned me is the handling, but I figured the Z51 sway bar would help a lot with that. I mean, I would have preferred the Z51 package, but I couldn't find a z51 car in the same price range as this one. One plus of not having the z51 is I don't have to replace the tires as often and since I use this car as a DD, I don't worry as much about losing control in the rain - I still do worry though! 400 horsepower is a tad bit higher than my 240 horsepower 3 series
Looks like you picked the right color! Welcome to the (LMB)brotherhood... Get a pair of dark shades, unless you don't mind people staring? "Vive LMB!"
Hah, I would but with the tint around the car, noone can see me in the first place. In fact, its too dark for my taste especially driving at night and backing out, but I don't think its worth taking it off and paying for a lighter tint.
Congratulations on the LMB Vette. I love the color I showed your car to a girlfriend of mine and she was wondering if that is your house in the background ? If so, you should have sprung for the Z51 pkg, night and day difference IMO.
