Default interior lighting

i appologize if I could have found this elsewhere, but i ran through the FAQ section and didn't see (might have missed it). Just a simple quick qestion. I am swapping the lights for red, and wanted to know how difficult and what i would need to make the door lights and dash lights red instead of white. color of course doesn't matter, just how do you do it.

Thanks
Sorry again if this is dead horse thread.......

I can't remember seeing instructions for the C6, but you can check out great DIY info for the C5 here

Very simple to do. You'll need four bulbs to do the cockpit, six if you want to do the trunk area (on a coupe). Bought mine at Autozone (I think) for less than $10. To remove the existing bulbs get a piece of rubber tubing to slide over the bulb - unless you have really skinny fingers. There is a post somewhere here on how to do it with the tubing. Try a search on interior lights, and be sure to use the advanced search option and check the archived posts box. Here's a link to a picture of my interior:

What door lights? Mine doesn't have any. There are some under the dash that come on when I open the door.

I am refering to the bottons on the doors and the gauges. They are all white. I rplaced the lights in the foot well (both sides) the map lights and even the light in the glove box. They are all now red. The hatch area i will replace in mid february when the bulbs I want come out. How ever all the buttons in the doors (ie door release, mirrors, window and the all the lights on the dash buttons and gauages are white.) I would like to back light those red. This means tearing more doors and dash apart. i was just curious ir iwas bulbs back there or like lights soldered on boards or something. Wanted have all the supplies i needed before attempting it.
