Default RejeX question

I'm getting ready for first road trip with the car (about 1600 miles). I'm a regular Zaino user. I'm putting on a couple of extra coats of Zaino and I want to finish off with a coat of RejeX for some extra protection. I know, it's a little overkill. I'm looking at the RejeX directions which say to wipe on, let dry to a haze, wipe off, then cure for 12 hrs.

Do I wipe off when it dries and then do the cure time? Or let it dry and cure on the car for 12 hrs, then wipe off?

Thanks.

Wipe then cure. I only use it on the wheels and front end for bug release.

Enjoy your trip!

It cures after wiping it off. I'm not sure what you will gain by putting Rejex over Zaino though. I'm not even sure it will do anything. I will have to defer to someone with more experience. Good luck and have a great trip.

Forget the RejeX. It won't give you any more protection than the Zaino. It won't make it any easer to remove dust.

Correct. Apply it, wait till it dries (about 30 - 45+- min.) then buff off. Let it sit inside out of the sunlight for 12 hours, to cure . . . then off ya go.

It works for me.... My observation is Zaino (and I am a Zaino devotee) gives a better shine than RejeXand RejeX is 'slicker'. That is why I use RejeX on the front and wheels and Zaino everywhere else.

I've used both. Rejex just does not give the deep wet shine you get with Ziano products esp on a dark color paint, but it does protect againts road tar, bugs etc a lot better than anything I have ever used. I use only rejex now as it's a lot eaiser to use and I have tested it's results myself for many years on several cars. My 95 GMC truck has sat outside at the beach since new and the paint is still perfect.
