Default Squeeze Me?

How many times does it take you to open your drivers door. I have to squeeze mine 5-6 times before it opens - the window indexes each squeeze but the door won't open until I get frustrated.....

Very interesting. I only sqeeze mine once. The window is indexing because it's getting the electronic signal when you sqeeze the door. The latch release may need to be ajusted or lubrecated.

Just once on my 06. Did you happen to remove your door handles or replace the stock ones? If so, maybe the pad is just a little out of alignment.

When the car was new I had a similar problem until I learned to NEVER squeeze. You put your finger or fingers in and pull. Thumb should not touch the paint.

Trial and error on the pad adjustment should alleviate your frustration.

It should open on the first try. Since the touch pad is just a switch it would appear the switch is bad or you have some sort of electric or BCM problem.

Only one "squeeze" is necessary on my '07 Vert.

Once. There is a short delay before the door opens.

You don't say in or out... Regardless, one touch either direction and it's open.

Generally mine opens on the first try, but it did take a little getting used to. The problem that I have encountered is on the passenger side. My wife has trouble if she tries to open her door before I have opened the driver's side door. Anyone else ever have this problem?

Thanks in advance.
