I'm glade to hear it works well, because I occasionally drive on icy roads, but I'm really light on the gas and have never had any trouble.

Driving on ice! I bet just plain old luck had more to do with you not having an accident than active handling or traction control. Probably hit the ice and then a dry spot and you just think the car saved your butt!
