I've noticed a subtle but bothersome whining noise at about 2500 rpm when cold. It sounds like a belt screech. The noise occurs only under load and not in neutral.
I've also noticed that if I accelerate to 2500 rpm slowly, the noise is not evident. It goes away completely after about 10 minutes of driving.
I took it to the dealer and it was test driven on two separate occasions, however, the dealer said he heard no unusual noises.
I certainly hear it, clear as day.
Any ideas out there? Thank you in advance

Yes, take it back to the dealer in the morning and leave it. Come back after lunch when the car is cold and have the tech ride with you so you can point it out to him.
I had to do this on my car, but in my case it was a caliper retention spring that only rattled when cold. The minute the brakes warmed up the rattle would go away.
