I have been told that there is a difference between standard--
Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar Extended Mobility Technology Tires, and the same but from a Z51 C6?
That is correct. The tread pattern is visibly different, and the Z51 tires are (surprisingly) non-directional, you can flip wheels L side to R side without remounting the tires (your TP sensors will be reversed without a reset). But the Z51 tires have a "this side in" asymetric tread while the base tires are symetrical inside-to-outside.
Then there's the all-season runflat, looks just like the base tire but has a rubber compound designed to have better traction at low temps. Limited to 168 mph, if that's an issue for you.
Thanks..Considering some C6 run-flats (take-offs) for my C5, but am tired of the "Run Flat" road noise, and was told the "Z51" runflats are going to be quieter?
So how do I tell the difference between these C6 RF's? (does it actually say this side in?)
