Default removing emblems

I tried to remove the front emblem from my 08 c6 the way you guys said. i got out the hair dryer, poured some "goo Gone" on it to soften up the adhesive, and after 30 minutes all i managed to do was to break a whole container of Dental Floss and loose all the feeling in my fingers. Is the another way to cut thru the adhesive or did i just use cheap Dental Floss? thanks jared

I thought this solution or method was for the side GM logos and not the front emblem. If I recall correctly there is pin assembly holding the front emblem , then again I could be wrong.

The front emblem is bolted on.

I just watched my new C6 coupe get built at the factory yesterday and saw them remove the adhesive tape and stick the emblem on the front facia. Unfortunantly I can't tell you how to get it off.

I covered mine with a black CD visor insert $3.00 Ea. at Walmart.
Holds 10 CD ea. and looks pretty good.
Might try reversing the visors but this would put the mirrors on the other side. I would not try to remove the emblem.

What the hell...

Art Enz I think the thread was about the flag emblem on the front facia area.

By the way I was successful in removing the seat belt warning on the visor. Looks perfect like it was never there.

Sorry about that wrong emblem.
The CD holder does look good on the visors though.

Well the thread title just said "removing emblems", at least you were being thorough.
