Having an issue with the supposedly "best" on the market.. yes, that’s according to the installer.
Have LLumar on my C5 Convertible (remember: small non-covered back window) so went and checked out the new LLumar F1 Pinnacle for my new C6. Had the 15 installed on all windows, within days noticed “ghosting” in the areas where they would have applied heat to shape it. Installer contacted LLumar and was informed of way to install without use of heat (or minimal heat), so they re-did the passenger side and rear, no ghosting had appeared on driver side. Well, same thing has happened so is going back in this Saturday for change of product, which leads to this thread.
They are going to use the 3M CS (color stable) 20 and I’m wondering if anybody has had any experience with this on their coupes. Reason I say “coupe” is due to the big back window where most of the ghosting has appeared.
my guy used formula one "ceramic" he painted the border, very nice
Yes, the F1 is the ceramic film, supposedly won’t interfere with all the electronics in these jets we fly.. no ghosting? And what do you mean by "painted the border"?
