i am seeing a lot of hype about CHUCK CoW for which i read he is a tuner and seems to be a master at his craft.just what are we talking here in hp and torque from a stock 08 c6 auto w/paddles,does a tune really slap ya that much more and is this a mod needing to be done as in i would be missing the boat and loosing precious hp and torque
as well.just a note i would love to increase the hp/torque though i havnt even experienced all i have now.

These tuners tweak the ECU operating parameters, changing the values GM set. GM chooses a compromise between performance and reliability. It's possible that more performance can be obtained, but it can compromise reliability. I'm also sure that these changes will violate GM's warranty.

Chuck tunes the car while being driven which gives a truer picture of what the engine does when driven as opposed to a dyno tune with a static flow of air. He can also tune things like tranny shift points, cooling fan trigger points, skip shift trigger points, and other stuff.

Before he gets started with each car, he talks to each customer and discusses how aggressive the tune should be and can go for all out max power, tone it down to keep a good level of economy and reliability, or some point in between. Chuck does a true custom tune for what the driver wants and the equipment installed.

He needs to have the car to do the A6 trans tune. His standard tune with the trans tune is something you need to experience to realize the impact. His tunes take up to two hours to complete. I have his 3.15 package also and it is absolutly wild.
