Default unusual???

I've been laid off since mid Jan and catching up on some things so this week was time to go over the vette with a fine tooth comb. I noticed two things that i'm unsure about.

1) the pads/rotors are wearing in an uneven pattern radially, more wear on the outside vs. inside. The wear is distributed between the pad and rotor not just one item. Front ~ 0.015" per side with about 1/2 pad gone, Rear ~ 0.045" per side again about 1/2 pad gone. To me this indicates that the calipers are flexing open under load. Anyone else see this or have thoughts?

2) the last two alignments ~6 month apart show gaining toe in the rear, about 0.20* total each time. Most everything else stays in place. The only thing i can think of is car settling/spring relaxing but then why wouldn't the front be doing the same thing? thoughts?

TIA

It's not unusual for pads to wear unevenly. The outside edge of the rotor is traveling faster than the inside and thus generates more heat when braking. Also the "trailing" edge of the pads will often wear more because they see a hotter rotor than the leading edge.
