Nav Question

Just got my 2008 coupe...are you supposed to get a manual with navigation? I've got the disc of course, but I didn't get any type of book or manual to explain all the functions of the navigation system.

Or, if not...can anyone point me to some sort of instructions for it?

I'm sure I can eventually figure it out but it would be much simpler with some instructions.

Are you sure it isn't hiding behind the "big" manual in the booklet?

Ummmm....yeah, I'm sure. Trust me, I checked every piece of paper that came in and with the car. I just needed to know if it's supposed to come with a manual.

Tell your dealer to get you one. If it wasn't in the leather-bound instructional kit, then there was probably a lot of extra room in there, right?

CD's too

You should also have a couple of Audio CD's that came with the car. For '07 they had a DVD but it didn't play very well on about 5 DVD players I tried. I don't know if they made a new DVD for '08 since the LS2 is talked about on the DVD, briefly though.

Thanks guys! I went through the whole car and there isn't any nav manual in it. Guess I'll have to call the dealership back to get one. Thanks for the info ~ much appreciated!

Thanks! Yeah, I've had 3 red vettes and this time decided to go with the black...now my username doesn't fit my car! LOL

Yes, PM a Admin and they can change your name for you.

Actually it is quite easy to change your forum name. Creating a second login account is a bannable offense you don't want to go that route. If you go to this thread:

Send a PM to forum Admin Jesse (forum name cor07vette) directly adn he will take care of your name change. They recommned that you provide a couple of choices in case your first choice is taken.
