Side-Cove inserts

I stopped by my local dealership yesterday to get my weekly Corvette fix while I wait for my new VR coupe to come in. They had a VR Z06 on the lot, and I loved the black inserts on the side-coves. I am not a big fan of the mesh style inserts, but I really, really liked the exposed style on the Z06. Does anybody make something similar for the base C6? I have only seen the mesh style, but I am an admitted newbie to the Vette.

I know what you're talking about but I don't think they make anything like that for the non Z06. Save up and buy the Z06 widebody.

It's not really a matter of saving up. I briefly contemplated buying the Z06, and letting them put my factory order on the floor, but calmer heads prevailed. I have no intention of racing my vehicle so $18K for cove-inserts seemed a little steep.
