I see you have an 05. The NAV in 05's have to have a software update before they can play MP3's. If this has not be done you will need to do so.

Just FYI, MP3 CD's need to be set up a particular way to work in the vette. Here is a post from last year on how to do it, hope it helps.

Yes. Tell them you are experiencing static on the FM band. The firmware update for the static fix will restore the mp3 playback capability.
Actually, if you are industrious you can download the firmware on the forum and do the install yourself. I did and it works just fine.
