Default 08 Center Console

had the dealer replace my center console in my 08 die to them scratching it...

now the passenger heated seat is not working...

the dealer says that they did not have to disconnect anything

is it easy enough for me to do myself?

Your dealer is full of crap
If they removed the center console to replace it you need to disconnect the heated seat switches and the lighter power along with the hazard light switches.
The reason I know this is because I've removed mine a few times.

It's easy enough if you are patient. I replaced my '07 console with the '08 and did it myself. Just take your time. If you have any concerns, make the dealer do it. This way if it cracks or gets scratched, it's the dealer's expense.

warranty causes me to drive 20-25 miles to the dealer get their car, drive back to work 40miles, then drive back down to the dealer 40 miles, pick up my car and go home 15 miles

not counting traffic that is a lot of drive time in a non vette...

now I can do a few things around the garage but, I do not want to risk breaking the new console...
