Default Franklin Mint Z06 oops!

Hey guys!
Just got my Daytona Sunset Z06 1:24 scale model in the mail from the Franklin Mint. Model is incredible, however they made a slight oops!

In the care and handling guide for the car, on the last page, it lists the technical specifications of the Z06. The transmission is listed as " tremec 6 speed, electronically controlled paddle shift automatic transmission with manual shift control".

Hey Corvette Conti I want an automatic Z06!!!

I called Franklin Mint and let the customer service rep know, but who knows if th booklet will be corrected..I guess that makes this model more valuable!

Better check inside the model to see if they actually have the auto with the paddle shift as opposed to the stick then it might be worth some money or at least a refund.

No, it has a stick shift inside the model and no paddle shifts on the steering wheel.

That is cool...however, I think once before GM tried this, but could not make up their mind....

Here is an actual Z06 I delivered over a year ago

but a real auto z is coming, hopefully sooner and not later.
Thanks for the mention and for the Z06 diehards...I know you hate the idea of an auto Z...all I'll say, they will sell a bunch and it will open up the car to many that want it, just not as a 6speed for many reasons.

So we'll all sit back and watch....and don't even bother aksing Gm, they are running for preseident with their answers waffle house USA!
