Yes. Save your money. Wheel locks are useless. Every thief knows how to remove them with a hammer and undersized socket.
Tom
This may be true, but Gorilla makes a set that every lugnut is a locking lugnut. They may be able to eventually remove them all, but it will take alot of time, alot of noise and alot of undersized sockets. These are the one's I bought for my custom wheels.

And for every person who has wheels stolen and says, "Boy, I wish I had gotten wheel locks." there are 10 who have lost the key or bought a car without a key who can't figure out how to get the lock off. Save your money and spend if on the deductible on comprehensive insurance IF you are one of the very few who ever have wheels stolen.
Why lock your doors . . .why put deadbolts on the house? A little bit of prevention can be a deterrence and with all due respect, those simple things are money well spent.
One of the times I was living in Italy there had been some auto thefts in the area and one of my neighbors had a really elaborate, strong, expensive gate built into his property to prevent his Mercedes from being stolen. The thieves used C4 to blow the gate off the hinges, pulled the gate away with a neighbor's hot-wired car and stole the Mercedes.
They want 'em, they'll get 'em.... or take the whole car.
It's the first thing that Gorilla recommends you do. I keep one hidden in the car incase I need it and have one hidden in my garage as a backup. I always know where they are at.
