Locking it in!
Well I think I'm going to lock in my order with McMulkin. Red/red 08 coupe 2lt with the glass roof and 2 tone seats. Man 6-8 weeks is going to be torture, but oh well I have my Vrod to keep me happy until it gets here.
Anyone have any good pics of an 08 red coupe with the basic stock wheels?

Gotta be honest I really don't like the split wheels, is it easy to trade them for the older wagon wheels with forum members? Just thinking ahead, maybe a set of aftermarket deep dishes.

A word of caution if you are getting Victory red exterior don't expect the red interior to match.

VR may not match the interior red very well, but check out this link to pics of CRM and the red/black interior...All I can say is "Prepare to be AMAZED"..and I'm not even a "Red" guy!

VR may not match the interior red very well, but check out this link to pics of CRM and the red/black interior...All I can say is "Prepare to be AMAZED"..and I'm not even a "Red" guy!

If you order 026 you will get the two tone seats as well as the red on the doors dash and center console. If I were getting a red exterior with two tone red interior I would get the 89U Crystal Red exterior.

Crystal Red Metallic Tincoat w/red 2-tone seating surface (must get 2LT at a minimum to get the 2-tone seats). Someone who's gone thru the ordering process please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's all you need to get that Stunning combo. Good Luck!

I "locked in" my order with MacMulkin this past Friday. While I know the dealer says that it may take 6-8 weeks for delivery, I think that is a conservative estimate. Many of the deliveries have come significantly sooner than that as evidenced by may of the other forum members. My money would be on a build date of about one month.
I think you are likely to get yours before mine too, because mine is a museum delivery.
Nice choice on the interior. My 01 Z06 had a two-tone red interior. It matched the exterior just fine.

Thanks guys! I just love the victory red AND the 2 tone red interior, it's a shame it doesn't fully match but I can't see it being horrid or anything. I'm not a big crystal red fan, although it is beautiful it's just not me.
Buckeye a month would be awesome, just in time for snow melt.
