If you mean that you would like to see a dual cup-holder in the C6, then I agree. It's not a big deal, but it would be nice.

If it were a choice between dual cup holders like the one today and a good, deep single cup holder I'd much rather have one good one. The passenger can always hold their cup.

Duals would be nice, but I hope Chevy is cleverer than Acura. The duals on my NSX are more useless than the single was on my C5. They hold things about as well as the C5's holder(NOT), but they are behind your elbow where you can't keep an eye on them, or grab in a hurry. :(

I agree with the above comments. Keeping a passenger seat for the wife is probably the best cup holder they can come up with.

I'm thinking of removing that sliding cover to get 1/4" so my biggie cup with fit. Maybe someone has already done this?

Just do this.....Works awesome and is quiet and cheap and not noticeable like the plastic cup buddy thing.. and holds more than a cup.

I don't see that working any better. Doesn't look like it would hold anything bigger than the oem cupholder. I actually tried one similar to the one you linked that had "hard" cupholders and besides it not fitting anything bigger than oem, it rarely stayed in place. It's in the landfill now.

Old thread but since we're here... I use the soft cupholders that hawk posted and they work fine. Large coffees and large drinks from a few different chains all fit. You can also adjust how tight they are around the cup with the drawstring.

I have also used the hard plastic cupholders and loved them, especially with an added insert so you can fit small cups or big Nalgene bottles. Only reason I got rid of mine was because there's less room with the C7 seats and the hard cup holders were a tight fit. They compromise passenger leg room.

Brother it will hold two of the large stainless steel cups with no rattles or clanging...I keep my cell phone in it as well...Its cheap and you never know its there ....and is made from good materials...The console cup holders are annoying for us that have three pedal cars too....

I just bought an insulated container that fits in the stock cup holder.....simple......not as large of a capacity, but it works well.
