Anyone figured out a slick way of porting a battery tender connection out from the hood, the grill, or the wheel wells?
I have a normal Deltran battery tender, with the short cable connected to the battery. So far, I just pop the hood and connect up, but it would be sweet if I could find a place to let it come out so I didn't have to open the hood.
It will reach the seal around the hood, but that's probably not good as it would probably hit the paint when not in use.

Anyone solved this life-and-death problem?
I routed mine thru the side fender vent, that way i just plug the tender in without opening the hood.

I toss a towel on the wiper blade on the driver's side for that. If I leave the top unlatched I put a towel on the roof. Any other "Don't Forget!" I put a full sized sheet of paper on the driver's seat. Never been a problem. Now if I could just remember where I laid my glasses...
I have the same tender and using the alligator clips I just fed the wire between the front fender and door and the easiest route to the battery. If you do it right you can close the hood with no problem. Works fine and the green light is glowing on the battery.
