Tire rotation when?

Of course you can't rotate them. Where was my mind 
I had an oil change (dealer) and was told to keep in mind a rotation in the future. I really don't think they were pulling my leg.
I just had to post it and now feel a little silly. Well if you can't laugh at yourself ....................

Goodyear EMT's are NOT directional but since the front and back are different sizes the only rotation possible is swapping left side with right. 7500 miles. The pressure sensors don't know what side they're on so you'd have to reset them or just remember which side they're on and keep a mental note.
Not directional, but they do have an outside and inside.

And why can't you rotate them? I had different size tires front and rear on my bimmer. I took it to the tire dealer and they rotated them for me.
Old ones on car rotated to recycle bin and new tires rotated to car.
Improved performance was amazing.
