I have searched and searched .. and not knowing how the subject may be worded ... have had no luck finding a thread on home - painted spoilers. I want to paint my stock '07 coupe spoiler to match my MS paint. I also have had 0 (ZERO) luck finding a paint company to make a shake can of MS, code 67U, for me. HELP????
Thanks,
Don
If you ship me your spoiler I will paint it and ship it back for free. I have a machine silver 08 and have the paint and it was dead on for me.
If you get the spoiler and it doesnt match to your likings you can send me something color matched from your car and I will scan it and paint it again and ship it back.

I tried a couple different companies but they were the only ones to match my color. Real easy to find the paint you need. They also have different kits with everything required for the job.
Good luck with your spoiler project. Your dealership can provide you with a rattle can of MS paint. You will just need your VIN and a visit to the GM parts counter. It will take about a week for the order to come in.
While referred to as Machine Silver, the actual paint name is called Light Tarnished Silver Metallic. It is color code 67U and the paint code is WA994L. If you don't want to go the dealer route, have a look at these folks. You can get touch up pens, quarts, rattle cans and clear coat.

Jake - WOW!! Very nice of you! Just today I ordered the MS paint at my dealer and it will be in tomorrow!! I so very much appreciate your offer ... I'm gonna give it a go so just wish me your best luck! I'm gonna do a plate frame at the same time, what have I got to lose? Thanks to all, especially JAKE!!!
Thanks to red2008z06 - I bought an "extra" stock spoiler from him! Great price, fast, fast shipping and just a great experience! Thanks to a good forum member from a new forum member! Now to try the GM rattle can approach! Wish me luck!

I have sanded, primed, painted, sanded again and now primed again. I "THINK" with a good wet sand I'll be where I want to be.
It is a question of whether I'm gonna give up or not. NOT!!
Jake, I know you know what you're doing when it comes to this painting stuff, and I don't. BUT it's now becoming a personal quest to finish this bastig!
Have you, or are you going to apply any clearcoat? Wet sanding the color coat is always a good idea, but without clearcoat, you will never be satisifed.
