Default climate control display

I have an 05 C-6 and have a question. My car, since new only displays the driver side climate control temp. If you adjust the passenger side it will display the temp for a while. This is whether it is set at the same or different temp from the driver side.

My other cars always display the driver and passenger temps. BTW the dealer says this is normal.

Do all of you experience the same thing?

My 07 displays the passenger side temp all the time if you turn it on by pushing the temp control ****. Otherwise the passenger side does not read at all.

Passenger temperature should be either constantly on or constantly off. It should not display for a brief time and shut off.

My '05 works the same way. Push the right control **** to turn the passenger side on or off.

Read the manual. It contains a lot of information most dealers are unaware of.
