Just got the build sheet for my car from the Corvette Museum and was hoping it would have the build date on it (it doesn't). Any way to find out when my car was built? BTY, did a search and nothing came up.
Thanks

Unfortunately as you have found out, the build sheet does not contain the build date of the car. It looks like you have a couple of offers to get it so that is a good thing. The build sheet is a recepie if you will of how to make your car, not when. It simply contains the options and the detail of the features that went in to your car. It is used by the production and quality folks to assemble and validate the assembly of your car.
I have learned that the car is on the actual production line for about 33 hours so it isnt built in one day... That being the case I assume the TPW (Target Production Week) is what is considered a build date. Am I right? Unless the day the car comes off the production line is said to be a build date, I dont know, just guessing here.
Thanks for the responses and well wishes The build date for my '08 coupe appears to be 9/21/07 according to info provided by a forum member. This sounds right as I bought it on 10/19/07. STW
