Default front licenseplate bracket

I just purchased a new 07 black roadster yesterday. Any suggestions on front license plate mounting brackets available other than the ugly plastic ones that fit on the nose. A lower mount would be preferred.

The most popular one around here is the Top Flight Reproductions. They have a fixed and removable mount here:

I've got the removable bracket from Top Flight and it's great. If I have to have one, which I do, this is the one. :yesnod.

Topflight for me also. Best one on the market as far as I am concerned. If you want to remove for whatever reason, just take off 2 wing nuts and plate/mount comes right off. No holes to drill during installation. Mount is 2 pieces and one part of the mount attaches to the underside of the grill opening with 3M tape. Very secure.

That's my choice. I have their removable bracket and love it (as far as front plates go. )

Two wing nuts and about 1 minute and now you see it:

Now you dont:

Another option - went with a billet bracket that mounts using fascia bolts and 2-sided tape. No drilling, etc. Mine was a gift but can tell you this one is twice as expensive at topflight and if I were to need another, would go with the removalble unit from them.

I took my '05 in to the dealership for a routine checkup...One of the service guys was looking at my TopFlight removable front plate. He asked me where I got it and turned to the other service tech and told him that this looked so much better than the GM or any other front plate he had seen. He has a Vette and I gave him the name of TopFlight because he wanted to get one too.

OK,I might be the only guy on here that thinks that top flight bracket is not only ugly, but way way over priced!!I went w/RPI-ECC-GULFCOAST CORVETTES mount that screws in under the front bumper w/3 screws and the plate slides out as needed, other wise it sits under there out of site!
BEST PART-IT'S 49 BUCKS!!! BEFORE:

AFTER:
NOTE:THERE really is no bracket/plate mountthat looks real good on a c6,anyway!!

NO, you are not the only person on this forum that do not like the topflight bracket. I don't care for it either. I can't find one that I like, so I guess I'll just save my money for the ticket I'll be receiving.

Step away from the ledge, brother! Dont, please don't, deface your Corvette with a front license plate! Man up and accept any tickets that may come your way. Don't make a work of art ugly with a front license plate!

Okay, so we each have our own preference. No big deal, that is the reason that there are options available to each of us.

Check out the front bracket offered by:

Man Machine Interface

Don't know the link offhand but Google that name and you will find it. His sits a little lower than the one everyone here is familiar with and in my opinion looks 100% better. I didn't have it installed at the time I made my photo for this site. Guess I better get a new pic since I also have new wheels.
