Default Shift **** help

Hello all, just need some advice. Looking to change my shift **** on 07 and not sure what is the best way to go. I have a Callaway shifter in it now and was looking for something close to stock ( like the design). Would like something heaver and leather. Thinking about the MOMO evo or something close to that. Any ideas? thanks for the time.

I have a few options. they all lower the overall height about 1.5"

New flame 6spd OEM fit shift ball. 2 1/8" with the flame graphics that look like they are floating in the ball very very cool. Fit's OEM 2005-2008 shift **** using OEM hardware and retains OEM boot $99

Custom Carbon *****, we are now adding your choice of shift pattern to our new weighted 2" real carbon shift ball. The graphics are buried in tough clear coat. Fit's OEM 2005-2008 shift **** using OEM hardware and retains OEM boot $109

New options

White

Black

Even playing around with the

Very simple install

Some new custom work

Finished product, see the arrow for the hidden image

The thing to be careful of is the height. The Momo ***** fit, but if you're looking in the Evo line, don't get the F16 Evo - it's way too tall. I picked one up, and tried it out, but it didn't work well at all. Fortunately the Combat Evo that I had in the WRX is great in the Vette, and the F16 Evo works well in the WRX... got lucky on that one!

The race Evo should work well also.

Take a look at this: https://mtiracing.com/products/mti-r...-short-shifter $239.00
MGW shifter.......$399.00
I was referred to the Six Shooter Short Throw Shifter by a fellow Corvette owner and drag racer. I decided to go with it, and am very pleased. Works flawlessly and smoothly! Just for your information. I also decided to go with a ball style shift ****, and am very very glad that I did.......whatever you choose good luck with it.

Did you install this on the factory lower box ? I was aiming to get a new/refurbished lower box as well.
But - this shifter looks like it would pair very well with a TMOD Customs rebuilt lower box.
