Coincidentally I was asked that question yesterday, and have been asked it several times. Being in the performance business, most of my friends and business contacts expect me to have a Z06.
My standard answer is "No, it's a regular C6 Corvette. I didn't get the Z06 because it only comes with a manual transmission and I didn't want that. I also have two other cars at home, one with 510 hp and the other with 540 so my everyday car doesn't have to have 500+ hp."
My Vette is my daily driver and L.A. traffic is bad enough with an automatic.

I've had guys at my work tell me that I'm driving a Z06 even when I them NO, it's just a standard Corvette. This conversation went on for several minutes. I finally left the area shaking my head saying fine if you think it's a Z06 then in your mind it must be.

Was pumping gas today and the Vette was all shined up. A guy walks by and says "Nice car.." Then the question... " Is that one of those Z06's ? " 
I said "no it's just a regular Corvette..." hahaha
I got the question with my 07 too.. I kind of felt guilty saying it's just a "regular" Corvette because I LOVE THIS CAR ! Does anyone else hear this ?

Thats the #1 question I get. Maybe I'll put a Z06 emblem on the fenders for fun so people will ask something different for once. The crustang guys put 5.0 on the fenders of their four bangers, so at least I wouldn't be the first geek to do something like that. J/K BTW.
