I'm retired from, originally A-C Spark Plug (GM) 26 years, then they spun us off as DELPHI INDUSTRIES, 4 years. Got my 30 yrs. and ran out the door as fast as I could. I operated an 1800 ton transfer press punching out parts for the cat converters we all have under our cars. It was a great place to work, especially the first 25 yrs. Now I can sit back and relax in northern Wisconsin, fishing, going for boat rides on Eagle River's Chain of 26 lakes, hunting and most important, going for long rides in the beautiful north woods with my wife in our Vette. Life is good.

By day, I am an attorney - www.corbin-law-office.com

By evening, I am my kids' father, my wife's husband, chief cook and bottle washer, clothes folder, and killer of monsters under the bed. Frankly, that job is really fun - lots of explosives and heavy weapons!

These two threads prove (to me) that there's no "typical" Corvette owner.

I am a retired Architect.

FYI don't believe everything you hear on the news. Your fear is boosting their ratings. Your health of worrying and ability to enjoy life is boosting their ratings.
So thats what I do and I really don't want to turn this thread into an economy discussion. Just making a statement thats all
