Infinity kappa speakers are some of the best if not the best. Alpine amplifiers are nice as well. I use this setup.

kappa the best? You think $300 speakers are better then speakers costing $K or more? There are many car audio forums if you cant find info in the audio forums here. If you want speakers only, Focals are some of the better ones to go with. It would be best to get one of their component systems for the front and take out the back speakers. As for amps there are so many good ones to go with. I personally have always used JL Audio, they are very solid and flexible compared to most out there.(But many believe you are over paying for a name) If you want sub(s) (which all systems should have IMO) JL W6v2 are great as well as image dynamics. Many people think subs are huge and boomy, but any good system is going to have sub(s). Even if its one small one with low power. This subject will have more opinions then anyone can fathom, just like exhausts. You need to go to the store and hear it for yourself. O ya, please don't upgrade without a new HU. Eclipse, Alpine, pioneer premier make good ones.

Keep your original equipment and focus on the speakers first. I think you should look at a few threads that discuss speaker ohms. If you go with a replacement speaker and don't touch amps this is very important.

Also speaker sensitivity is a key issue and is directly related to the amp power. I would suggest going outside the forum here and getting a grasp on amps and speakers.

The best head unit with crap speakers still sounds like crap. But a crappy head unit delivers a signal and the speakers deliver the music...
