Default Ipod for 07s

Anyone know of a way to have an 07 fitted with an connector for an Ipod ?
Wishful thinking, but if it can be or has been done, I figure someone here would know about it.

PXAMG works for me. Have had it about a month now, no complaints.

I think the 06 & 07 radios are the same (?). I have been using the Scosche AXIPCLII that connects to the XM. It works with iPhone. One of the 2 modes doesn't work with my nanno, but it does work well enough. I'm happy with it, until something better comes along.

What features does the PXAMG have?

Full control thru the XM screen. I think it tricks the radio into thinking it's an XM station. I just leave my Ipod in the center console, it stays charged and I operate it thru the touch screen on the HU. Simple enough even for me. The unit fits on the inside near the right side of the ashtray with a cord into the console.

Do you need to have the XM radio subscription for this to work ?
Will this work with the DVD Nav Radio ?
If so.....
Where'd ya git it and how much ?

I don't think you have to subscribe to XM.
I have the Bose w/ nav and do subscribe to XM
I bought mine thru Automotive Entertainment in Santa Monica and they installed it along with my system.. $175.
I think you can get it from Sonic Electronics. Do a search in the audio section for more info. Several CF members have them. You will also need a PGHGM5, thats included in the cost.

Default '08 Z06 With Nav Unit wanting iPOD ...

I have an '08 Z06 and have the Nav unit. On my window sticker it lists an audio jack feature along with the Bose Stereo but I have never found one. I want an iPOD attachment and am interested in this thread. A couple of questions:

1. What is the sound quality like going through the XM portion of the radio? I ask because the radio quality is not very good...in fact it seems to be worse than the FM Radio side.

2. What is this that I hear about GM offering iPOD connectivity for existing models in May? Is this merely a rumor? and will it really work or simply link through using a radio frequency setup?

Update:
Right you are Craig.
Just put the PGHGM5 and the PGH gateway in my beast. Works great, cost less than $200, took about two hours ( still don't know how to disconnect that damn cigarette lighter!)

Thanks for the help, Craig...and everyone else......
