How do you hotwire the fan to the battery or to a fuse in the engine fuse box. Great to know if you need to cool the car at the drags.
You can only get to the wires from underneath the car, so I put the car on ramps. On the bottom right hand side of the radiator is a heatsink looking device which I'm assuming is the fan control module. I tapped into the red and black wires going to the fan, and ran them to the battery. It would be very easy to run those to a switch, if you know the basics about wiring. I'm assuming that turns the fan on 100%. It sounded like it was going full blast.

Look, you drove the car and everything was fine, it didn't overheat so air in the system is NOT the problem. It's just a coincidence that whatever system is used to turn the fan on crapped out at the same time you did your pulley work or you knocked a wire loose during your work. There is an fan control module that could have a loose connection but I assume that's where you applied the 12 volts to see if the fan would turn if powered up so that's probably not the problem. But check all the connections to that module that powers the fan. Looks like a trip to the dealer so they can use their scan tool to energize the system and figure out what's broken.
Yeah, I checked all the connections to the module, and it is highly unlikely that I yanked a wire loose during my work on the pullies considering that I could barely find them to tap into them to test the fan motor. They are tucked away very nicely. I don't know what the problem was, but attaching that new ground wire solved the problem. I don't think I'm going to take it to the dealer and have them charge me $70, just to hook up a tool, and the try and tell me that my module or some other expensive part is bad. My free fix works fine... I'm not messing with it!! Thanks again for everyones help!!!
